Uruguayan artist Genoveva Pérez Volpe (Montevideo, 1974) uses inks and watercolours to illustrate books for children. She works as a graphic designer, but has always been drawn to illustration. She lived in Barcelona for 12 years, where she started the Janistudio project (2007), a small visual communications studio, before moving back to Montevideo.
